About all the products

Q1.Is there an expiration date?: Please check the expiration date printed on the product.

※Our products (excluding HANDMADE SOAP) use naturally occurring preservatives, so the expiration date is set at a maximum of two years from the date of manufacture when the package is unopened.（The expiration dates for BODY CARE CREAM and ALL IN ONE GEL CREAM will be changed from 1 year to 2 years from June 2020 and July 2020, respectively.）

Q2.Where are your products sold?: Our products can be purchased here at the Milpoche Organics Official Online Shop and Milpoche Organics Rakuten Store. If more locations become available in the future, we will update you on our website.

Q3.What kind of organic materials are used in your products?: Please see here for a description of all ingredients used in our products, including organic ingredients.

Q4.Can your products be used on sensitive skin?: Although our products do not contain ingredients that may cause skin problems, some people's skin may react to natural ingredients. We recommend patch testing before using our products for the first time.

Q5.Can I use your products during pregnancy or on a newborn baby?: Our products have been developed based on the concept of "peace of mind for mom and baby." They can be used safely for children and adults alike. If you have allergies or sensitive skin, be sure to conduct a patch test before use by applying the product on an inconspicuous area, such as the inside of your upper arm.

Q6.Is it safe to use products for mothers and maternity products on babies?: Our products have been developed based on the concept of "peace of mind for mom and baby." Our cream for mothers can be used for moisturizing the skin of babies without any problem. Conversely, there is no problem at all for adults to use baby products.

Q7.Can I use products when I have skin problems?: This product is not a medical product, so please avoid use if you have skin problems. If you must use a product, please consult your physician.

Q8.My child consumed some of the product.: Our products are made from safe ingredients, so there is no particular danger if a small amount is consumed. If you are concerned, wipe the inside of your child's mouth with wet gauze (to dilute what was consumed), give water or milk to drink, and wait and see for a while. If you notice any abnormality or if large amounts of the product have been accidentally swallowed, bring the product and a list of all the ingredients labeled to a physician to seek medical attention. Please keep out of reach of children when storing.

Q1.Can I use this product on my face?: This product is safe to use on your face. Thoroughly moisturize your face and body with the cream as part of your daily skincare routine.

Q2.Can I use this product on babies?: The cream can be used without any problem. After mom has used it as a maternity body cream, this cream can be used as a baby cream. If you are allergic or have sensitive skin, be sure to conduct a patch test before use by applying it to an area such the inside of your upper arm.

Q3. I sometimes get a feeling of balling up while using the product.: We think that the source of the balling up is the thickening agent (we use a natural ingredient used to make jellies), which is an ingredient used to solidify cream. This is what allows the various moisturizing ingredients to cream and slowly penetrate into the skin and serve to moisturize the skin. Please be assured that it is not bad for your skin.
However, if the amount used is too much for your skin, or if you rub too much before the product is fully absorbed, the ingredients still remaining on the surface will curl up and form a balling up appearance.
The degree of penetration will vary depending on your skin type, so if the current amount of product causes balling up, we recommend that the please try a smaller amount.

Q1.Can I use this product on my face?: This product is safe to use on your face. Thoroughly moisturize your face and body with the oil as part of your daily skincare routine.
※Since the ingredients contain natural essential oils, please try it on your body first before using it on face.

Q2.Can I use this product on babies?: Do not use the oil on small children (up to 2 years old) due to the presence of natural essential oils in the product. Please be careful not to get it in your baby's mouth after applying to the breasts. If you are concerned, we recommend that you wipe it off before interacting with your child.

Q3.It is said that citrus essential oils can be phototoxic.: The essential oils we use do not contain any phototoxic substances, please use them with peace of mind.

Q1. I sometimes get a feeling of balling up during use or when I put on makeup.: We think that the source of balling up is the gelling agent (we use a natural ingredient used to make jellies), which is the ingredient used to make gel cream firm. This is what allows the various moisturizing ingredients to become gelatinous, slowly penetrate the skin, and moisturize the skin. Please be assured that it is not bad for your skin.
However, if the amount used is too large for the skin, or if other sunscreens or foundations are used before it is fully absorbed, the gelling agent still remaining on the surface may curl up and form a balling up appearance.
The degree of penetration will vary depending on the your skin type, so if the current recommended dosage of 1 push of the product causes a balling up appearance, we recommend that please try a smaller amount than the prescribed dosage.
(Please note that excessive scrubbing may result in the balling up if multiple coats are applied.)
If you do not have time to wait for the gel to penetrate into your skin before applying makeup, we recommend that you lightly cover your skin with a tissue after using the all in one gel and then apply foundation

Q1.Can I use this product on my face?: This product is safe to use on your face. Add our soap products for your face and body as part of your daily skincare routine.

Q2.What do I do if it gets in eyes?: Our body soaps and handmade soaps are made from soap without using synthetic surfactants, so they may sting if they get into your eyes. If the product gets into your eyes, please rinse them thoroughly. If you experience redness or other symptoms, make sure to seek medical attention.

Q3.Are the products not formulated to be slightly acidic?: Our body soap and handmade soap are not slightly acidic because they are made from soap without using synthetic surfactants. Soap is generally an alkaline substance. Even if your skin becomes alkaline due to soap, it has the ability to return to slightly acidic immediately. Therefore, we do not think it is necessary to use synthetic substances just to make it slightly acidic.
